Today is April 15th ... tax day ... a day that many American's dread. But ... April 15th has been redeemed. Today is the first time that our little girl smiled on purpose.
To set the scenario ... we procrastinated and our taxes weren't 100% complete ... even though it was April 15th. Daddy disappeared for many hours down into the dark depths of the basement where our computer has been set up. He emerged rubbing his eyes in the light of the day with a big grin on his face exclaiming 'It's done!' This was exciting news for everyone in the family including young miss Megan Eliana who let loose with a beautiful smile.
Now we just have to figure out where to get the $2000 needed to pay off our tax bill :(
